We will be sharing updates and funny stories as they happen (and I remember to blog about them.) Hopefully you find them as entertaining as Ben and I do. Enjoy :)

Future Dr.?
Recently at Carac's school they have started some lessons/works that are focused on the skeleton. Carac's favorite, and the one we have been hearing the most about is the Skeleton Song. The bones he is learning from head to toe (and the order of the skeleton song) are "Skull, mandible, vertebrae, clavicle, clavicle, scapula, scapula, humerus, humerus, radius, radius, ulna, ulna, carpals, phalanges. Sternum, ribcage, pelvis, coccis, femur, femur, patella, patella. Tibia, tibia, fibula, fibula, metatarsals, metatarsals, phalanges, and that's our skeleton."
It's been quite impressive and comical at the same time. The other day Carac ran up to me and was waiving his fingers in my face saying "Mommy, these are my phalanges." Then tonight when we were changing into his pajamas he informed me that his shirt got stuck on his mandible and skull.
It's hard to believe that at 4 he is learning and using the words properly. Who knows, we may have a future doctor on our hands....maybe an orthopedic surgeon?!
