Carac's New Hat (Overdue Post)

So about 3 weekends ago Carac and I decided to skip Daddy's Friday night football game and we went to the mall. (Shh! Don't tell Ben.) We had dinner at the food court and it consisted of Chik-Fil-A. We love the chicken and waffle fries. I wanted to get Carac some new clothes because of how much he's grown! He's somewhere between 4 and 5-6, just depends on the brand and how much it shrinks after we wash it the first time. We ventured into Crazy 8's a new store at the mall and you can see pictures of what Carac picked out.

Never has this kid been willing to wear a hat. And it has not been for a lack of trying. He has an adorable Curious George hat courtesy of Aunt Kristina, I believe it was Grandpa Larry that tried with a St. Louis hat (much to my dismay) and Ben and I had even tried with a Cars hat. Something with this plaid Varsity Football hat has just stuck. He wears it to school, puts it on at home and even makes us carry it upstairs to bed and he wants it on the floor next to him. He just loves it. Ben is pretty excited as well, he just wants to get Carac to wear a hat that matches his in the following picture!
