Carac is in the process of transitioning to his a new bed. We had previously had him in a toddler bed, and he just got too tall. So now he's got the BIG bed pictured here. He's actually done quite well. The first night he walked downstairs twice to tell us he was all by himself, but we've been troopers and walked him back upstairs and put him back in the bed.
Now, we've also spent some time sleeping on the floor next to the bed. It has paid off because on nights 2 and 3 Carac didn't get out of bed at all. He woke up so proud of himself and told us that he slept good in his new bed. We are still in the process of moving the old bed out and then reorganizing the plethora of toys that he has collected over the past 4 years. Overall I think it will be a great room for Carac and will allow for hours of enjoyable playtime!
We also got Carac a new dresser and we will be working on Carac getting himself dressed and ready for school before he even comes downstairs. It will take some organization, but we should have the clothes in the drawers pretty soon. I can't believe how big he is and the fact that I'm already talking about him picking out clothes and getting himself dressed. He's grown up way too fast!
