2nd Sleepover!!!

One of the best parts of the new house is that there is room for Carac to have friends over and play.  We've been here for a little over a month and already Carac has had two sleepovers.  The first was sort of impromptu, so I didn't snap any pictures.  The 2nd was a little more planned, so I was able to take a few pictures of the fun.
We had the sleepover on the weekend of the time change (don't recommend it, unless it's when we "fall behind.")  We had pizza for dinner.  Then the boys had a lot of fun playing, dancing to Alvin and the Chipmunks, and watching a little Disney Channel.  Then it was time for bed.
For as tired as they were (even though it was only 8 pm) you would have thought they would have fallen asleep almost instantaneously, YEAH RIGHT!  I think I was up there with them for about an hour.  The boys took turns scooting to the bottom of their sleeping bags, then they were talking, then one needed to go potty, then the other needed to go as soon as the first returned, etc.  Finally they ran out of excuses and ended up rolling over to go to bed.  Here's the picture after the fact.  I'm not quite sure where we'll have them sleep once we determine the purpose for this room, because I can guarantee it's not just going to be the "sleepover room!" :)
The boys were up at ready to go at 7:30 am on the clock, really 6:30 am (silly time change!)  So I got up and took them downstairs.  They had requested pancakes for breakfast, or should I say pancakes were the only thing the two of them could decide on for breakfast!  So I got to work.
It's amazing how impressionable kids are, even at 5.  Carac normally has the syrup poured over his pancakes, but since Connor wanted to dip his pancakes in the syrup, Carac decided to follow suit.  Not sure which way gives them more sugar, but I'm guessing the dipping route may be the better alternative?!?!

You can see the boys were pretty happy with the way things turned out!!!  Connor didn't want to go home, and Carac didn't want him to leave.  They started coming up with excuses right away as to why they should have their next play date!  So overall, I would call it a success.  Connor and his brother Brady are about to have a baby sister, and depending on how the nights go, the next sleepover may be coming sooner rather than later.  But that's okay, the sleepover room is still empty!! :)
