Sorry for the lack of blogs over the past few weeks. November has been a very busy month for us. I was fortunate to attend the Colts game vs. the Texans for work. Prior to my traveling to Indianapolis I was able to watch Ben's football team win the Sectional Title. Yesterday they were able to hold off Heritage Hills and won the Regional Title. They will be playing for Semi-State next Saturday, the 21st, up in Indianapolis against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard. It will be a tough, but good game.
Carac has been very busy at school and has come home practicing his letters. He can write quite a few words, and has been practicing. I may be able to convince him to sign Christmas cards this year!!
The biggest news and what has been preoccupying most of our time is that Ben and I have made the decision to buy a new house. With the tax credits and in this market we've never been in a better position. It's quite overwhelming and my first time going through the process. Thankfully we've had some friends and family that have been very patient and understanding as I bombard them with questions or listings to look at. We've narrowed it down, and I believe we are making an offer on a house tomorrow! Wish us luck. Once we've got an accepted offer on a house I'll make sure to post pictures. Until then I don't want to jinx the process!
Somehow it's the middle of November and I am about to enter the busiest time of year for work. However, my husband is still coaching, we're buying a new house, and I haven't even begun to start Christmas shopping. Why is it I constantly do this to myself.....I promise I'm not bored!
Words of encouragement are greatly appreciated. I hope that everyone else is doing well. If we're fortunate to wind up with the house we are considering we'll have plenty of room for visitors, so consider this an open invitation!!!!!!! :)
